al-Fann is a comprehensive exhibition presenting an overview of art from the Islamic world. The exhibition includes more than 350 objects from different eras, regions and materials, including ivory, glass, stucco, metalwork, pottery, rock crystal, manuscripts, woodwork, stone, textiles and carpets. Curated by Giovanni Curatola, the exhibition premiered in October 2010 at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, Italy. It then travelled to Vienna, Austria in early 2011. It was on exhibition at the National Museum of Korea, located in the South Korean capital Seoul, from July 2013 to October 2013.
